Taylor Hall (born November 14, 1991) is a Canadian ice hockey left winger currently playing for the Edmonton Oilers of the National Hockey League (NHL). He was the first overall pick in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft. Hall has had a highly successful junior career, helping the Windsor Spitfires to two consecutive Memorial Cup championships in 2009 and 2010. On July 5, 2010, Hall signed his first professional contract with the Edmonton Oilers.

Taylor Hall discusses rehabilitating his repaired shoulder, not playing for Team Canada, as well as his Oilers teammates up for NHL Awards.
Edmonton Oilers general manager Steve Tambellini said the team may try putting ex-Spitfire Taylor Hall at centre next season to potentially open up a spot for projected No. 1 pick Nail Yakupov. “I can’t answer that now, but I think Taylor’s going to be one of those guys who can play centre, left-wing, right-wing,” Tambellini said. “Taylor Hall will be Taylor Hall. Taylor took a lot of faceoffs and killed penalties in junior in Windsor. You watch a guy like (Henrik) Zetterberg and whether he lines up at centre or on the wing, it doesn’t matter. “The Oilers played Mark Messier at wing, they played him at centre. He was the same player. “I think guys like Taylor Hall can play anywhere.” Read more: http://www.windsorstar.com/sports/Game+sparks+memories+Jovanovski/6534131/story.html#ixzz1tSUh7TNZ
The Jason Gregor Show Hour 2 – Taylor Hall Live on Location, Jordan Eberle Prank Call Hour 3 – Jason Strudwick and Taylor Hall Live on Location
After six years out of the playoffs and a 29th-place finish on the heels of consecutive 30th-place seasons, the promise of a bright future is starting to wear thin for fans of the Edmonton Oilers. It’s not going over a lot better with Taylor Hall, one of the players those hopes hinge on. While Hall, at the heart of Edmonton’s rebuild along with fellow second-year player Jordan Eberle and rookie Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, has high hopes for the future just as fans do, he isn’t willing to use short-term pain in the name of long-term gain as a crutch indefinitely. Taylor Hall catches up with former teammates Cam Fowler & Andrew Cogliano at the Ducks morning skate.
For the second straight year, Taylor Hall‘s season has come to a premature close. The 20-year-old will require labral surgery, putting him out of commission for the campaign’s remaining six games and up to six months leading into next September’s training camp. While Hall is currently out with a concussion he sustained when Calgary’s Cory Sarich pasted him along the boards in Mar. 16′s Battle of Alberta, that has nearly healed — but the timing was right to initiate the steps in recovering from a longstanding problem in No. 4′s left shoulder. The Sarich hit had no impact on Hall’s shoulder, however. “About four years now,” he laughed when asked how long it’s been a bother. The goal-scoring winger initially suffered the injury in junior, but it’s been a nagging concern that got reaggravated upon a collision earlier this season.
